I bring you DSP-Manager 2.35. This one works on stock and custom ROMs (thoroughly tested). Unlike the ones already posted in the SGY thread, the sound remains consistent (does not suddenly go up, causing destruction of your earbuds).

Oh, and it works with stock music player as well.

For music afficionados, this one is for you. For that deep bass thumping sound, just enable compression (moderate), bass boost (moderate), equalizer (rock) and Virtual Room (large room is nice).

Notification Toggle

  I'm proud to present my new app: Notification Toggle.

With this app, you can place different toggles into your Android status/notification bar for quick access without having a dozen toggle-widgets on your homescreens

You can choose which toggles to display in the settings of the app. You can also choose to combine different toggles into one "all in one" notification.
Unfortunately, on most devices you can only define one action per notification, so on these it will show a small dialog with the available toggles when clicking on the "all in one" notification. But some devices (seems like all devices with HTC Sense ROM) can distinguish where in the notification you clicked and on these you don't have to see the dialog.

The app is for free in the Android market, would be nice to get some feedback

Some notes:

• not every toggle will work on every device: especially the flashlight functionallity is very erratic and every manufacturer implemented it somehow different. you should install TeslaLED in addition to notification toggle
• some settings aren't changeable by user apps, so it will bring you directly to the android settings
• "all in one" toggle might display a dialog to choose the setting to toggle. if this happens then your device doesn't support notification with more than one click-events - it seems like only devices with a HTC ROM or on ICS can do that

Samsung Galaxy Mini Official cyanogenmod Update Guide

This guide will walk you through the process of taking the Samsung Galaxy Mini from stock to having the ability to flash the latest version of CyanogenMod. This guide assumes the Samsung Galaxy Mini already has Android 2.3 installed on it.

Note: The official Android 2.3 update from Samsung must be applied before following this guide.

Before you do anything — Make a backup

Don't forget to back up your data. If you have synced the device with a Google account, then the contacts, calendar, Gmail, & select other Google-related data will not be lost and will come back after the next sync. However, you should backup anything you want to keep that is not stored on the SD card:

• SMS/MMS messages,
• Call Log,
• Bookmarks,
• Applications; use Titanium Backup or the Astro File Manager, for example,
• Any application data not on the SD card.

It would also be a good idea to backup everything stored on the SD card in the rare case the SD card must be formatted to resolve any major problems.
MyBackup Root, SMS Backup & Restore, and Call Backup & Restore are all free applications that can assist with backing up your data.

Installing the ClockworkMod Recovery

If the Samsung Galaxy Mini already has the ClockworkMod Recovery installed, skip this section.

Warning: Rooting the Samsung Galaxy Mini will void the warranty.

1. Download the ClockworkMod Recovery kernel, Odin v4.38, and TASS.ops
   • Recovery kernel for Galaxy Mini: download

2. Open Odin v4.38.
3. Power off the Galaxy Mini and connect the microUSB to the computer, but not the Galaxy Mini.
4. Boot the Galaxy Mini into download mode by holding Volume Down, Home, & Power.
5. Connect the microUSB cable from the computer to the Galaxy Mini.
6. Wait for Odin to recognize the Galaxy Mini (the box in the top left will turn yellow and say (COM #) where # is a random number).
7. Ensure One Package is checked right below that box.
8. Select TASS.ops by pressing the OPS button.
9. Select tass-recovery-cwm.tar by pressing the One Package button.
10. Press Start and wait until the phone reboots.
11. The Galaxy Mini now has the ClockworkMod Recovery installed. Continue to the next section.

Flashing CyanogenMod

NOTE: In order to flash CyanogenMod via ROM Manager, root access is required. Attaining root access is outside the scope of this wiki page

Method via Recovery

1. Download the latest version of CyanogenMod.

   Optional: Download the Google Apps for the device.

2. Place the CyanogenMod update.zip file on the root of the SD card.

   Optional: Place the Google Apps .zip on the root of the SD card also.

3. Boot into the ClockworkMod Recovery.
4. Once the device boots into the ClockworkMod Recovery, use the side volume buttons to move around, and either the power button or the trackball to select.

   Optional: Select backup and restore to create a backup of current installation on the Samsung Galaxy Mini.

5. Select the option to Wipe data/factory reset.
6. Then select the option to Wipe cache partition.
7. Select Install zip from sdcard.
8. Select Choose zip from sdcard.
9. Select the CyanogenMod update.zip.

   Optional: Install the Google Apps by performing steps 7 - 9 again and choosing the Google Apps update.zip.

10. Once the installation has finished, select +++++Go Back+++++ to get back to the main menu, and select the Reboot system now option. The Samsung Galaxy Mini should now boot into CyanogenMod.

Method via ROM Manager

1. Launch RomManager.

   Optional: Choose the first option in the app, Flash ClockworkMod Recovery to update to the latest version.

2. Select the Download ROM option from the main menu in the ROM Manager.
3. Select the CyanogenMod option, and then choose the latest version of CyanogenMod from the menu.

   Optional: When you select the latest version of CyanogenMod, check the Google Apps option.

4. Once the ROM is finished downloading, it asks if you would like to Backup Existing ROM and Wipe Data and Cache.
5. If Superuser prompts for root permissions check to Remember and then Allow.
6. The Samsung Galaxy Mini will now reboot into the recovery, wipe data and cache, and then install CyanogenMod. When it's finished installing it will reboot into CyanogenMod.

• Install usb driver if not installed .

Now lets configure our android phone and install the required application:

• Right click on Chrome shortcut, select “Properties”
• Switch to “Shortcut” tab. In “Target” field, insert [space]--ignore-certificate-errors at the end. Once you have that finished, click “OK”

      Here is a simple steps to get GodMode in your computer

1. Create a new folder on your desktop or on any drive you wish

The long awaited emanoN v5 custom rom for Samsung Galaxy Pop/Mini GT-S5570 smartphone is out and is now available for download. A few days ago, I posted some screenshots of emanoN v5 rom and was amazed to see that people were going crazy to get this rom on their device. Apart from the fact that this rom is simply awesome having many custom features and tweaks along with stock User Interface and apperance, this custom rom now seems to be one of the favorite of many galaxy mini/pop/next users. I doubt this rom would be as  famous as Cyanogen Mod if it had support for wide range of devices. But, since the developer, parasmi, is working on this rom alone he can't make it available for other android smartphones out there.

But, those who own a galaxy pop/mini gt-s5570 smartphone can continue reading to find out  more about the changes in latest version of emanoN custom rom as well as for step by step instructions on installing this latest emanon v5 custom rom on your android smartphone. Below is a short change-log to help you know what's changed since the previous emanoN v4 rom.

But, in contrary there are also negative reactions claiming that contact force close if you go to last entry, volume fluctuation and few others.

If you are stuck at ANDROID logo for a long time then wipe data and cahe as well as dalvik cache in clockwork mod recovery. Cyanogen Mod is one of the best custom rom for android smartphones that has support for wide range of smartphones. Since, the first port of unofficial Cyanogen Mod 7 custom rom to Samsung Galaxy Mini/Pop/Next GT-S5570 smartphone by tj_style, this rom has undergone many changes has reached a whole new level. Now, we have got many developers mixing and modding this rom with their own recipe to make it even better for overall user experience. A developer know as Mr_V_D is also working on his own Cyanogen Mod 7 based custom rom, named Cyanogen Music Mix. This awesome rom is also codenamed Music Mix MIUI4 since it inherits the appearance of MIUI v4 rom.
